A 501 (c)3 non-profit, our organization supports operations of the Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach and Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach through admission fees, private donations, community contributions, grants, memberships and gift shop sales.

Donations to support operations from people like you pay the costs to support the sea life in our aquariums and touch tank, to maintain our exhibits, to develop programs, to help us make trips for schools students affordable, and will allow us to be here for generations to come.
Elevating Access
The Museum has several accessibility
challenges that limit its functionality and ability to serve all visitors.
Therefore, the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation has launched a capital improvement
project, Elevating Access, to make essential building
modifications to the Museum of Coastal Carolina that will increase
accessibility. The project includes installing an elevator, refitting restroom
facilities and adding handrails, which will significantly increase access and
enrich the visitor experience for all. thanks to donors like you, we've already completed restroom renovations, but are now seeking support for the other projects.
